Machining Custom Cufflinks!

For Autodesk CAM Challenge 2.0, we milled these high fashion cufflinks on the Tormach 770 for the Zane State College fundraiser and although these parts are small (less than .5 sq in), they represent something much bigger.

Not only were #cufflinks one of my first projects as a machinist, they allowed us to #payitforward by giving back to our community. For the CAM challenge, the tasks are to use the “Tabs” feature in Fusion 360 AND get them to a mirror surface finish. We’ll cover how to use the superglue workholding technique for small parts, speeds, feeds, and toolpaths in Fusion 360! Does anyone else get #camerajinxed?
